April is National Poetry month and 2nd grade sets this time aside to celebrate poets and their craft! Each writing block started with a daily poetry “battle” by listening to two different poems from famous authors each day, voting on the favorite, and then ultimately choosing the class favorite!
CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Crusader competitors! Our girls team placed 5th overall out of 17 teams in the small school division and our boys placed 2nd overall out of 13 teams in the small school division! See the full details online.
It was another great year for CtRCS at Steps for Students - the annual 5K race supporting Catholic education throughout the Archdiocese and especially here on our own campus! We're so proud of the more than 450 runners, walkers and snoozers who registered to make a difference at CtRCS in February 2019!
We are pleased to announce that Avery Melanson, 7th grade, has been accepted as a Junior Finalist in the Honors Junior Choir for the 2019 Middle School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall.
