Middle School students actively participate in service projects throughout the school year, supporting both our parish and the broader community. Opportunities may include assisting with parish events, supporting local outreach efforts, participating in seasonal service initiatives, and partnering with organizations that serve those in need. Through these experiences, students develop a deeper understanding of their faith while making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Students in Pre-Kindergarten through 5th Grade are also encouraged to serve through age-appropriate service projects and charitable initiatives. These experiences help young Crusaders recognize the importance of kindness, generosity, and caring for their neighbors while building a foundation of service that continues throughout their years at CtRCS.
By cultivating a spirit of service at every grade level, we empower students to become faith-filled leaders who put their beliefs into action and make a difference in their communities.At Christ the Redeemer Catholic School, we recognize that students learn in different ways and at different paces. Our Learning Center provides additional academic support for students in grades 1–8 who would benefit from targeted reading intervention and skill development.
Led by a reading specialist, the Learning Center focuses primarily on helping students strengthen foundational reading skills, improve comprehension, and build confidence as learners. Students may be identified for support through NWEA MAP Growth assessments, classroom performance, teacher recommendations, and other academic indicators.
Instruction is provided in small-group settings and is tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. The goal of the Learning Center is to help students develop the skills and strategies necessary for greater academic success and independence in the classroom.
Students participating in the Learning Center receive services during the school day and are typically scheduled during enrichment periods.
