What sports are offered through CtR and WHCSA?

CtR partners with WHCSA to offer the following recreational sports programs:

• Fall Soccer (September–November) – Pre-K through 4th Grade
• Winter Basketball (January–March) – Kindergarten through 4th Grade
• Spring Tee Ball/Baseball/Softball (March–May) – Pre-K through 4th Grade

How do I register my child?

Registration dates are listed above. Once registration opens, the sport-specific registration link will become active on the corresponding athletics page. All registrations must be completed through the online registration portal.

What are the registration fees?

Registration fees vary by sport:

• Soccer: $180
• Basketball: $230
• Tee Ball/Baseball/Softball: $180

All registration fees are non-refundable. League registration, uniform orders, and team formation begin immediately after registration closes.

What is included in the registration fee?

Registration fees help cover league fees, officials, equipment, uniforms, and other program expenses. Each participant also receives:

• Personalized sport-specific team medal
• 8×10 Memory Mate photo keepsake
• A season filled with fun, teamwork, and lasting memories

What equipment is provided?

Soccer

• CtR provides team jersey and shorts.
• Parents provide shin guards and optional cleats.

Basketball

• CtR provides team jersey and shorts.
• Court shoes are optional.

Tee Ball/Baseball/Softball

• CtR provides team jersey and cap.
• Parents provide pants, socks, belt, batting helmet, and optional cleats and league-approved bat.

How are teams formed?

Teams are formed by the Program Coordinator after registration closes. Team sizes vary by sport and are based on registration numbers.

What happens if there are not enough players or coaches?

If there are insufficient participants to form a team, registrations will be canceled and families will receive a full refund.

How often are practices and games?

Teams typically practice once per week for 30–45 minutes. Games are generally played once per week on weekends, most often on Saturdays. Schedules will be released at least one week before the start of the season.

Can I request a specific coach, team, or practice time?

While we cannot guarantee coach, team, or practice time requests, families may request that a child be placed with a friend during registration. We will do our best to accommodate requests whenever possible.

Who coaches the teams?

All teams are coached by parent volunteers from the parish and school community. We encourage interested parents to volunteer as coaches during registration.
