Diana Morrison

"Each day, I have the privilege of looking into the smiling faces of my students and seeing their excitement to enter the classroom and learn. Their joy motivates me to continue teaching and reminds me to thank God for allowing me to be part of their journey. To me, teaching is more than a profession - it is a vocation, a calling, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children."

Diana Morrison grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Hospitality in Boston, where she studied all aspects of hotel operations. She began her professional career with Marriott International and spent 15 years in the hospitality industry, specializing in corporate and catering sales and wedding planning.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Diana homeschooled her daughter, Karolina, for kindergarten. Teaching her daughter to read became one of her greatest accomplishments and inspired her to pursue a career in education. She went on to teach PreK-3 at the Genesis Early Childhood Program, where she discovered her passion for helping young children develop a lifelong love of learning.

Diana and her daughter, Karolina, have also been active members of American Heritage Girls at Christ the Redeemer for the past five years. She and her husband, Angel, have been married for 13 years and are blessed with their daughter, Karolina, who will be a sixth-grade student at Christ the Redeemer Catholic School, as well as two bonus children, Maria and Santiago.

In her free time, Diana enjoys cooking, listening to music, trying new cuisines, dancing flamenco, spending time with family and friends, and thanking God each day for His many blessings. Diana is excited to join the Christ the Redeemer Catholic School family and looks forward to sharing her love of learning and her Catholic faith with her students.
