Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek) is an annual program dedicated to inspiring K-12 students to take interest in computer science. To celebrate National Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 31-Feb. 6, CtRCS will host an Open House from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at the school. For the next school year, 2016-17, the school will welcome students for 7th grade.

CtR Catholic School hosted its inaugural “Chilly” Cook Off on Jan. 23 and raised more than $20,000 as a part of Steps for Students, an Archdiocesan campaign to raise awareness and support for Catholic education. The event had 19 teams cooking chili and more than 550 people in attendance. With the music turned up, chili pouring and children playing, it was tough to tell who was having more fun – the kids or the adults.
